Victron inverter Quattro 48/15000/200-100/100
Victron Inverter Quattro 48/15000/200-100/100
Combination of Inverter and Charger with Two AC Inputs & Two AC OutputsManufacturer’s Description:
Inverter/Charger with Two Independent AC Inputs
The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example, shore power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro automatically connects to the active source.
Two AC Outputs
The main output ensures uninterrupted operation. In the event of a grid failure or a disconnection of shore/generator power, the Quattro supplies the connected loads. The switch-over occurs so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed.
The second output only provides power when AC is available at one of the Quattro’s inputs. Loads that must not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.
Virtually Unlimited Power via Parallel Operation
Up to 10 Quattros can be connected in parallel. For example, ten 48/10000/140 units can deliver 90 kW/100 kVA output power and 1400 A charging capacity.
Three-Phase Operation
Three units can be configured for a three-phase output. But that’s not all: up to 10 sets of three units can be connected in parallel, providing 270 kW/300 kVA inverter output and over 4,000 A charging capacity.
PowerControl – Operating with Limited Generator or Shore Power
The Quattro is a very powerful battery charger. It draws significant current from the generator or shore power (16 A per 5 kVA Quattro at 230 VAC). A current limit can be set at each AC input. The Quattro then takes other connected AC loads into account and uses only the remaining available power for charging. This prevents overloading the generator or shore connection.
PowerAssist – Boosting Shore or Generator Power
This feature takes the PowerControl principle to a new level, as the Quattro can support undersized alternative sources. Load peaks often occur only for a short period. In such cases, the Quattro ensures that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately supplemented by energy from the battery. When the load decreases, the “excess” energy can be used to charge the batteries.
Solar Power: AC Output Even During Grid Failure
The Quattro can be used in both off-grid and grid-tied PV systems, as well as other alternative energy systems.
System Configuration Made Easy
After installation, the Quattro is ready for operation.
If settings need to be changed, this can be done in just a few minutes using the new DIP switch configuration procedure. Parallel connection or three-phase operation can even be programmed using the DIP switches – no computer is required! Alternatively, VE.Net can be used instead of DIP switches. Additionally, advanced software (VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator) is available to configure some of the new, extended functions.
