The Studer Xcom LAN set consists of a specially configured Studer XCom232i and the Studer Ethernet bridge.
It functions as a communication module for all Xtender, VarioTrack and VarioString devices with the Studer portal.
Systems with Xtender, VarioTracks and VarioString can also be controlled, managed and monitored via the internet using smartphones, tablets or computers. At all system locations with internet access or mobile phone coverage (GSM), the Xcom-LAN and Xcom-GSM communication systems can contribute significantly to the security, convenience and monitoring of the systems.
Studer Innotec offers this plug-and-play solution via a secure server and a simple, user-friendly interface.
The interface enables all functions and displays exactly as with the RCC-02/03 remote control on site, including access to all parameters, real-time displays of the measured data of all system units and access to all data from the last 30 days.
With this solution, you can view the event log at any time to consult the messages sent by the system. This solution also allows you to configure alarms that send messages via email or SMS to one or more people. It also reports if communication is not possible.
Xcom-LAN or Xcom-GSM?
Studer Innotec offers two different communication sets for system access via the internet. The available means of communication at the location of the system determine which set is the better solution.
If Internet access to a local area network (LAN) is available at the installation site, choose the Xcom-LAN Set. If this Internet connection is not available, but a GPRS or 3G mobile network * is available, the Xcom-GSM Set is the right choice.
* Compatibility should always be checked with the mobile phone network operator.
