Communication Module Studer / Steca Xcom-232i
The Xcom-232i communication module is equipped with a serial RS-232 interface.
It enables communication between a Studer Xtender system (single or multiple units) and a SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system.
This allows the transmission of all data displayed on the RCC02 / RCC03 or the graphical display (such as battery voltage and current, status of auxiliary contacts, etc.), as well as the modification of all configuration parameters.
An Xtender system can be connected to various SCADA control and monitoring devices, such as PCs, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or microcontrollers.
When connecting to the XTS series, the TCM-01 module is required.
From a technical perspective, the RS-232 interface can also be used for data transmission via a GSM modem, RS-232 to TCP/IP bridge, or remote converter (RS-422).
The interface is also galvanically isolated.
The Xcom-232i module is additionally equipped with an internal data storage system (data logger function).
